A master storyteller who shares the positive perspectives and realities of growing up with cerebral palsy and a hearing loss, my anecdotes and insights help instill the hope and inspiration that motivates others to realize their own goals and dreams. I began my speaking career at age ten, sharing my personal experiences with humor. Over 40 years later, I have inspired more than one million youth, parents, educators and other professionals nationwide and have even spoken at the United Nations. My TED Talk, “Taking the ‘Dis’ Out of Disability,” has generously been viewed by 3,300+ people.
